Child safety and our duty of care
We take our responsibilities to protect the children very seriously. All Employees and volunteers aged 16 years and over working with children, will be required to undergo a proscribed "Working With Children" check prior. It is legislatively required in every Australian State and Territory and each has its own process for application and vetting. All other staff (non-contact staff and Board members) will undergo a criminal background safety check.

In addition to this, we give a commitment that no child will be singled out or isolated - any issue arrising with a child will be raised via the individual program administrator with the child's parents so that together they can resolve the situation.
