Community-based orchestral and choral music programs for disadvantaged children and youth, ages 5 to 24.
Our programs are capacity-building, social cohesion programs that use the positive power of good instrumental music education, through the establishment of orchestra and choir-based music programs, to transform their lives and the communities
in which they live.
The process is designed to provide excellent group-based instrument tuition, to encourage the development and socialisation of young people and a true process of lasting empowerment and social cohesion.
The Symphony For Life Program is very different from conventional music education, and very different from other social change programs for children. The fact that it is both, is in itself a key differentiator.
